This is small list of some of our favorite places and people.  They offer a wide range of services; hair care, pilates, pregnancy wear and some of the charities we feel passionate about.  There is also a link to our professional associations that can give you more information on our industries.

The Body Gallery
the Pilates studio specializing in one-on-one training in a soothing, non-competitive environment. These women really know their stuff! My body has totally changed since I started working with these skilled professionals. The trainers are extremely encouraging and motivating while mindful of your body’s condition, the space is bright and airy and they rotate different artists’ work in the space so you never get bored when you’re focusing on your workout. They specialize in helping women get their abdominal strength & tone back after childbirth as well.

Acme Head and Body
a hair salon with some of the most talented and fun stylists in the City. Acme has a distinctive ethereal quality; the mood is hip with no “attitude” and the music uniquely eclectic. Dennis Yager has been cutting (ok and coloring) my hair for the past 11 years! However, from time to time, I’ve seen Holly, Clifford, Scott and Preston and have always been thrilled with their work. Their internationally trained stylists are creative, fun, and share expertise to create a unique, exciting team dedicated to bringing out the best in you. Whether it’s color or cut or both you are looking for that will maximize your own unique features, Acme Head and Body is THE place to go.

Chiami Sekine

We’ve been fortunate enough to have three showings of Chiami’s ever-evolving work here @ earth & sky.  Her subjects are usually animals, represented using a layering of techniques and mediums.  Chiami has been commissioned numerous times for private portraits of animals dearly loved by their people.
